Dr. Tyler Carron

Dr. Carron is excited and honored to carry on the legacy that Dr. Stanford created during his 37 years of practicing dentistry in Manchester, MO. In 2022, Dr. Stanford selected Dr. Carron to join his team and assume the care of his patients. Dr. Carron is passionate about providing the best care for his patients in a gentle and compassionate manner. He has invested in significant continuous education so that he can provide a wide variety of treatment options to his patients using new technology and innovation.

Dr. Carron is a St. Louis native and graduated from St. Louis University High before receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Missouri (Mizzou). He went on to receive his doctorate from the UMKC School of Dentistry. He and his wife returned home in 2019 and he has been serving St. Louis smiles since.

Dr. Carron lives in Manchester with his wife, Julianne, and their daughters, Jayne and Isabella. Outside of the office, Dr. Carron enjoys cycling, hiking, and spending time with his family. He was inspired to become a dentist at the age of 6 by his grandfather, who was a dentist in Perryville, MO. Passion for dentistry runs in the family as Dr. Carron also has an uncle and two cousins who are dentists.

Dr. Carron is committed to giving back to the community using his dental talents by providing care through the Dental Lifeline Network, Give Kids a Smile, and the Global Brigades program in Honduras.

Dr. James Stanford

Dr. Stanford began serving St. Louis smiles in 1985 and retired in 2022 after 37 years of practice. As he approached retirement, Dr. Stanford sought out a younger dentist whose caring philosophy would be the right fit to take over the responsibility of caring for his beloved patients. In 2022, he was excited to bring on Dr. Tyler Carron and pass the torch as he retired from dentistry.

Dr. Stanford graduated from Carrolton High School in Carrolton, MO, in 1977 before receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from Westminster College in Fulton, MO. He then graduated dental school in the top 10% of his class at UMKC dental school in 1985 and moved to St. Louis to start his practice upon graduation. He and his wife have enjoyed the benefits of raising their four daughters here in the Midwest.

Dr. Stanford was committed to offering excellent dental service by investing in continuing education and new technologies. He strove to stay updated on the changing dental environment.

Dr. Stanford and his staff enjoyed giving back to the community. All the proceeds from his competition BBQ Team (Chomper’s) were given to One Heart Ministries.

Lauren

Hygienist

Lauren graduated from Missouri College in 2010 and has been with Stanford Dental for over 15 years. As a dental hygienist, she tries to always put a smile on your face.

She enjoys working with our Manchester dental team and patients because of the feeling of family between everyone. To Lauren, her patients are like family, and family is everything. She is extremely passionate about guiding her patients to be the healthiest versions of themselves, and she wants to be there every step of the way.

Lauren has 5 beautiful children!  In her spare time, Lauren enjoys baking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with her family.

Renee

Hygienist

Renee has been a dental hygienist at Stanford Dental since February 2020, and she loves the people she works with and the patients she’s meeting! 

Renee graduated from Lewis and Clark Community College and strives to stay up to date on the latest dental technology through continuing education courses; with these courses, she is better able to treat and educate her patients about good oral health.

Renee is originally from Waterloo, IL where she met her husband, Jake. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, hiking with their dog, Lou, and spending time on her family’s farm. They are expecting their first child next February!

Erin

Office Manager

Erin started as a Front Desk Associate in January 2021 and was promoted to Office Manager in April 2021. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 23 years, her son is 21 years old and her daughter is 19 years old and they have a feisty Chihuahua Shih Tzu named Roxie. Some of Erin’s hobbies are playing volleyball and singing Karaoke! She loves her family time as well and crafting at home making shirts with her Cricut Machine.

Katie

Insurance/Patient Coordinator

Katie has worked as a Dental Assistant for 4 years and previously had several years of customer service experience. Born and raised in St. Louis, Katie earned her degree in Dental Assisting at Ozark Technical Community College. She has a passion for her patients and dental health. In Katie’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her pup, Luna.  She also enjoys watching and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.

Jen

Dental Assistant

Jen has known since high school that she wanted to go into dentistry. When she attended Oakville High School, she worked at a pediatric dental practice. She has been a dental assistant for over 20 years. She became a Certified Dental Assistant in 1999 and an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2001, which is the highest level of formal education that a dental assistant can attain and allows her to take a larger part in creating beautiful smiles for our patients!

Jen can honestly say “I LOVE MY JOB!”

She enjoys all the smiles she meets everyday and the variety of expanded function duties that she is able to perform. Her favorite moments are when she encounters a new patient who is fearful of dental offices, but by the time they leave our office, their fear has subsided and they have a great big smile on their face.

Jen enjoys going to Give Kids a Smile twice a year. She loves being able to help the children who otherwise would not have access to dental care. She has been to Honduras three times to help children and adults obtain the dental care that they so desperately need.
